Derek Bridges was masterful on the mound, hurling a complete game shutout, giving up just one hit, no walks, and striking out 10. Oklahoma State commit Tyler Polk’s 2-for-4 day with an RBI in the top of the seventh is all that Bridges would need to secure the win. For Carl Albert, NOC Enid signee Dylan Reeves threw a gem of his own, going 6.1, giving up one unearned run on five hits, two walks, and punched out five.

Alex Andrews was the stand out in this one. Andrews threw a complete game for the Wolves, giving up five runs, three earned, scattering eight hits, walking one, and striking out four. At the dish, Andrews was 2-for-3 with a double. NOC Tonkawa commit Dominick Trevino also had a productive day, going 1-for-3 with a double and three RBI’s. For Midwest City, Cameron Hodges was a 3-for-3 day with a runs scored and an RBI.

Down 3-4 going into the seventh, Norman North was able to rally with four runs in the top of the inning and hold off Mustang in the bottom to win. Leading the way offensively for Norman North was  Parker Tipton, who had their only multi-hit performance.  For Mustang, Rose State signee Bobby Covalt was 2-for-3 with two RBI’s.
