PBR OK 2026 Rankings: Initial Release

Prep Baseball Report Oklahoma is proud to release its initial rankings for the 2026 class. The list is compiled with players coming from all over the state and is already shaping up to be a very strong class with four Power 5 commits and many more receiving big interest. The 2026 class rankings will continue to add players and grow over the next couple of years as players shine throughout their high school careers as well as some others making big jumps as they add strength and experience. Today we take a look at the initial top 10 players in the state with notes and videos as well as a few other prospects to keep your eye on over the next couple of years.

THE TOP 10

Eli Willits SS / 2B / Fort-Cobb Broxton, OK / 2026Willits checks in as the number one overall ranked player in OK thanks to his advanced feel for the game and skill set that sets him apart at a young age. The OU commit played a large part in helping Fort-Cobb Broxton taking home the Class B Fall State Championship picking up a couple of hits and RBI from the left side of the plate as well as showing an advanced feel for defense in the middle of the diamond. The switch-hitter has strong barrel whip and shares some of the same plate discipline characteristics as his up the middle partner and older brother Jaxon. Willits already shows strong athleticism and should continue to easily add some strength to his frame making him a serious prospect to follow over the next couple of years.

Hunter Watson C / 3B / Tuttle, OK / 2026Watson checks in at number two on the initial 2026 rankings in Oklahoma thanks to his big right arm that is already showing the type of arm strength seen in prospects much older than him. The OU commit sits consistently in the upper 80's with a riding fastball that seems to explode out of his hand. Watson has a smooth operation with the delivery and shows the ability to get the most out of his lower half with strong leg drive off the rubber. His feel for pitching and advanced hand speed makes him one of the top must-see prospects on the mound in Oklahoma and should a fun follow over the next couple of years.

Cooper Kardokus SS / RHP / Edmond Memorial, OK / 2026Kardokus checks ranks as the third overall prospect in the 2026 class in Oklahoma thanks to having one of the best skill sets paired with strong in-game production. The switch-hitter from Edmond Memorial shows the ability to drive the ball to all fields from both sides of the plate and never seems to look uncomfortable in the box. Kardokus was one of the best performers on this past summer's Junior Future Games team for Oklahoma collecting multiple hits as well as playing premium defense in the middle of the diamond. Kardokus understands routes defensively and shows strong footwork making him a prime candidate to remain on the left-side of the infield in the future.

Hudson Morgan SS / RHP / Marlow, OK / 2026Morgan ranks as the 4th overall prospect in the initial rankings for Oklahoma after a strong showing throughout the summer on both sides of the ball. The OSU commit has one of the bigger arms in the state with the fastball working up to 87 mph back in July with a ton of life through the zone. The arm works very quickly and should easily add more velocity in the future. At the plate, Morgan is already seeing the ball jump off the barrel with exit velocities up to 93 mph with advanced bat speed and quick barrel. Morgan has a feel for playing defense up the middle with soft hands and strong bounce showing big range. At 6-foot-1 and 170-pounds, look for Morgan to continue to make big gains on both sides of the ball as he continues to add strength.

Easton Webb 3B / RHP / Charles Page, OK / 2026Webb enters the initial 2026 rankings at number 5 overall showing some serious upside on the mound for Sand Springs. Webb has already gotten a taste of high level high school athletics as the starting QB for Sand Springs this fall and should work his way into the picture come springtime on the mound for the Sandites. Webb has a unique ability to miss bats in a bunches on the mound thanks to his mid 80's fastball and feel for tight lower 70's SL. Webb also boasts one of the more projectable builds standing already at 6-foot-3 and 175-pounds and is an easy candidate for bigger jumps in the near future.

Ritson Meyer OF / SS / Elgin, OK / 2026Meyer checks into the list at number 6 overall after a strong showing this past summer at the Junior Future Games at Lakepoint Georgia. Meyer is one of the more physical hitters in the state for the 2026 class and shows complete control in the box from the right side. Meyer is already showing some serious strength at contact and projects as one of better power potential bats in the region. He also shows strong defensive versatility with the ability to cover a lot of ground in center as well as look comfortable in the middle of the infield. The Elgin utility-man has one of the more exciting games in the State and will be a fun prospect to keep an eye on in the future.

Josiah Kemp OF / Westmoore, OK / 2026Josiah Kemp enters the initial rankings at number 7 overall in the State as one of the best overall athletes in the class. The OU commit has a knack for finding barrels at the plate showing the ability to work the ball to both lines with quick hands. His high-level speed is a game-changer both on the base paths with strong instincts as well as his ability to cover a ton of ground with an understanding of playing the position with an advanced feel. Kemp has the bloodlines and his lean frame can hold much more strength and size in the future. He shows potential top of the order skills at the plate and can use his game-wrecking speed to give opponents a ton of trouble.

Cord Nolan OF / SS / Bixby , OK / 2026Nolan checks into the initial 2026 rankings as the number 8 overall player in the class thanks to his already physical approach to the game as well as his advanced athleticism. The Bixby outfielder shows some serious hand strength from both sides of the plate and projects as one of the better power/speed combos in the area. The combination is already playing up at a high level on the gridiron on Friday nights for the Spartans and he plays baseball with the same level of intensity as he does at his linebacker position. Nolan shows one of the stronger arms in the outfield and at 6-foot-1 and 185-pounds projects as a being one of the more toolsy players in OK.

Savion Sims RHP / Edmond Santa Fe, OK / 2026Sims has jumped onto the scene as of late and enters the initial 2026 rankings in Oklahoma at number 9 on the list. Sims already shows good length and extension with the ball jumping out of the hand and a smooth operation in the delivery. Sims has a lean build and can easily make big jumps on the mound as he adds some strength. With his hand speed and already strong body control over his longer limbs, Sims is one of the more intriguing prospects in the state and should be a fun follow over the next couple of years. |

Jackson Turney 1B / LHP / Sand Springs, OK / 2026The Sandites first baseman enters the initial 2026 rankings as number 10 on the list. Turney has arguably the most raw power in the State for the 2026 class with premium power potential from the left-side of the plate. Turney has already shown the ability to reach exit velocities up to 97 mph but what is most impressive is ability to work the entire field from line to line. Turney can easily work the ball over the fence to the pull-side and just as easily keep the hands back on a ball and shoot it done the left-field line for an easy double. The feet move well around the bag and he shows soft hands and feel for glove action that plays at a higher level. With his loud contact and physical frame, Turney projects as one of the top power bats in the state for the next couple of years.

PLAYERS TO KEEP AN EYE ON

Kaden Dean LHP / OF / Preston, OK / 2026Dean is one of the more intriguing arms in the class even with his lean build at 5-foot-8 and 140-pounds. The left-hander is already pumping fastballs up to 83 mph but what sets him apart is his feel for spinning the upper 60's CB with big depth and swing and miss spin.

Barrett Marlow C / 1B / Verdigris , OK / 2026Marlow shined at this past summer's Junior Future Games showing some physicality at the plate driving balls deep into the gaps. He's also shown his athleticism as a catcher with quick feet behind the plate and strong running times as low as 7.24.

Mason Thornton OF / RHP / Elgin, OK / 2026Thornton is one of the more toolsy players in the class showing a strong all-around game. He runs the 60 at 7.12, shows some strength in the barrel with exit velocities up to 85 mph during BP, and already has advanced arm strength in the outfield at 85 mph with throws having strong carry and accuracy. He can also jump on the mound and work the fastball in the low 80's making him an intriguing two-way prospect to keep an eye on in the future.

Reid Smith C / 3B / Piedmont, OK / 2026Smith is one of the more gifted defensive catchers in the area already showing pop times as low as 2.02 with a very quick release and strong footwork from behind the plate. He also shows his athleticism as a catcher running a 7.21 and has had exit velocities up to 88 mph. His build at 5-foot-11 and 170-pounds should be able to handle more size and strength in the future and will be an intriguing follow over the next couple of years.

Riley Ellis SS / 2B / Vian , OK / 2026Ellis stood out at this past summer's Junior Future Games collecting hits in bunches throughout the week. He's shown some strength in the barrel with exit velocities up to 87 but more importantly has shown the ability to be comfortable in the box against strong pitching. Defensively the feet move well across the diamond and shows strong glove work and actions.
