A 6-foot-1, 210-pound proportional frame with some strength throughout. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from an open, upright, and relaxed set-up with rhythm in his hands. Uses a smooth load and a moderate leg lift before launching his hands on a flat path to contact with good extension and some natural lift. In BP, shows an all fields approach with occasional lift and bat speed and strength, mostly barrels, 91 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.48 60. Defensively, shows a quite and balanced set-up with flexibility, receiving with elite strong and quiet hands, and showing clean and short footwork to second base.Throws down with a short and over the top arm slot at 81 mph down to second base and above average accuracy for showcase pop times of 1.89-1.98.

A 6-foot-1, 180-pound lean, physically advanced catcher. Offensively, all field approach, some strength in the hands. Quiet, upright set-up, rocking load, short stride, quality leg drive, with a smooth, mostly flat bat path.  Defensively, an advanced catcher with soft hands, flexible hips, quiet receiving, and blocks well. Throws consistent 2.00-2.20 pop times in-game with above average accuracy, mostly clean and quick exchanges. Does not drop baseballs. In-game, Cooper had three hits, two RBI, and two stolen bases.

 

 

10/29/16
A 6-foot-1, 177-pound athletic frame with some length. Offensively, right-handed hitter, middle-pull approach, some pop to the pull gap. Slightly open athletic stance, some rhythm, hands start high, short stride, slightly uphill path, 81 mph exit velo. Defensively, an advances receiver with soft hands a quiet movements, doesn’t drop baseballs. Throws from a high-3/4 slot, fast arm, 81 mph, 1.94-2.01 showcase pops, 2.25 in game pop, flashes improved accuracy. Consistent blocker, moves well laterally, clean exchanges, good footwork and keeps the pitcher in rhythm.  Runs a 7.65 60. Though hit-less in the game, Harris didn’t strike out and was the only hitter to put Olds in play, flying out to right-center.

A lean 6-foot-1, 185-pound frame with lots of room to add size and strength. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from an open, athletic, balanced stance with rhythm throughout. Uses a rocking load with a short stride, some length in the swing, good extension. In BP, shows a mostly middle of the field, flat approach with some pull side pop, mostly barrels, 83 mph exit velo. Defensively, shines behind the plate as an advanced receiver and blocker with strong hands. On the throws to second, shows some length in the back with arm speed and whip through a high-3/4 slot, 81 mph, 1.95-2.01 showcase pop times, some accuracy. In the game, went 1-for-2 with a hard contact single.

A 6-foot-1, 185-pound advanced frame with some length and room to continue filling out. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a wide open and upright set-up with some rhythm throughout. Uses a big and smooth leg kick and a flath path through extension. In BP, shows a pull approach with some lift and strength with quickly developing strength, found mostly barrels. Exit velo of 87 mph. Runs a 7.58 60. Defensively is the young catcher is at an elite level. Poses excellent flexibility with plus hands, handling any velo with ease, and is an above average blocker. Showcase pop times, of 1.89-2.10 with a top velo of 81 mph from a loose arm, some accuracy. In the game, had two hits through the 6 hole, barling up one of them for a line drive.

 

 

2/4/18
A physically advanced 6-foot-1, 195-pound frame with some strength. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats form an open, upright, and quiet set-up. Uses a moderate hanging leg kick for load and timing, takes a moderate stride, and launches his hands on a flat path through extension. In BP, show a line drive and pull approach, some barrels with pop, 90 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.51 60. Defensively, Harris is one of the most elite receivers and throwers in his class in the country with strong, soft and quiet hands with almost no body movement and advanced flexibility in the crouch. Showcase pop times of 1.89-1.98 at 81 mph and some accuracy. Shows consistently clean exchanges and footwork.
