Oklahoma Class of 2026 Rankings Update: Fall Edition

Bret Schwartz
Prep Baseball Oklahoma Scouting Director

As the Fall comes to a close, Prep Baseball Oklahoma takes an updated look at the 2026 rankings.  The Junior campaign can offer big changes, with many players further developing physically and making bigger impacts on the Varsity level.  These rankings are compiled in multiple ways, utilizing data collected from our events, and our staff’s scouting throughout the spring and tournament seasons. Tools and projection do matter in the rankings but performance on the field is still highly valued. Today, we take a closer look at various members of the top 10, and a deeper dive into both newcomers and risers on our list.

THE TOP TEN

Savion Sims RHP / Edmond Santa Fe, OK / 2026

Sims continues in our top spot as an elite prospect standing at 6’8” and 205 lbs, and one of the highest ceilings of any prep arm in the country. Following a big sumer, the right hander parlayed it into the Area Code Games with his fastball working from 93-97 paired with a slider at 82-84. The continued growth and adding polish with command makes him an exciting national follow over the next 18 months for the Santa Fe product.

Easton Webb RHP / Charles Page, OK / 2026

Webb stays at number 2 on the latest rankings as he balances polish and projectability marching into his junior season. Standing at an imposing 6’4”, his athleticism is highlighted by his feel for his entire mix. A high-ride fastball working 89-92 at the Area Code Games in August, 2600+ RPM slider easily manipulated, and an arm side fading change up. Physical, starter profile out of the future OSU Cowboy, he will be an exciting follow through the spring.

Hunter Watson C / Tuttle, OK / 2026

The Tuttle product and Oklahoma commit has continued to develop showcasing advanced metrics with both his fastball and breaking pitches. Closing out the summer circuit, Watson’s fastball comfortably sat in the low 90s with ride and over 2600 RPMs. Additionally, he has shown the ability to mix two distinctly different breaking balls with a curveball and slider. The curve ball registers 2500+ RPMs and ability to land in the zone for a strike. The slider, 82-83 mph, has shown late action for swing and miss and potential to become an elite pitch.

Josiah Kemp OF / Westmoore, OK / 2026

The Oklahoma commit saw his stock rise through the summer culminating in an invite to the Area Code Games in August. Toolsy, his ability to run has long been seen as a difference maker as shown in his 3.79 30 yard dash time at the BOA Scout Day in late May. An exciting prospect that our staff expects to make another jump moving toward his junior campaign this spring for an exciting Westmoore team.

Hudson Morgan SS / Marlow, OK / 2026

The power hitting right handed hitter has shown the ability to be the force in the middle of the lineup. With some of the best raw power in the state, his ceiling is still in the future as he continues to fill out his 6’1” frame and consistently produce extra base hits.. Morgan and his Marlow teammates are coming off the first state title in school history and he will be a big part of their success as they look to repeat.

Cooper Leggett RHP / Bixby, OK / 2026

Leggett is as physically imposing as they come standing at 6’7” and the stuff to back it up. Consistently working in the upper 80s, he continues to mature physically showing athleticism rare for his size. Despite his velocity climbing, his change up is arguably his best pitch to date with heavy arm side run and sink; registering an average of 15.1” Horizontal Movement in his outing. The Bixby Spartan is our highest ranked uncommitted junior, and an exciting arm to see early this spring for a talented club.

Cooper Kardokus SS / Edmond Memorial, OK / 2026

The future Husker, Cooper Kardokus, could be the most well rounded player in the entire class. The switch hitter uses a mature approach, using the whole field, but has turned that into more extra base hits as he has matured physically. Defensively, he has shown to be an easy mover with comfort catching the ball out front and using his advanced feet to get him in good positions. He will be a huge part of a talented Edmond Memorial squad and their bid to get to Bricktown in 2025.

Tyler Frazier RHP / Newcastle, OK / 2026

Frazier finished a big summer with a strong showing at the Future Games. The 6’1”, 180 pound right hander has shown advanced feel for pitching as his velo continues to tick up as well. His fastball has worked up to 90, showing good ride with 18.5” of IVB and 2440+ RPMs, has shown to be enough to help him navigate a lineup the first time through. However, two distinct breaking pitches in a slider that tunnels with his fastball as well as a curveball that works more north/south through the zone. His development sees no end in sight and the future Cowboy promises to be a must follow into the spring.

Elijah Williams LHP / Community Christian, OK / 2026

Williams, a Sooner commit, has continued to show huge upside on the mound from the left side. A lean frame at 5’10”, he has already shown the ability to bump his fastball into the upper 80s with advanced feel and command for his secondary pitches. His athleticism is apparent with ability to manipulate a sweeping slider with velocity to steal early count strikes or chase a swing and miss for a punch out. His mix is finished with a change up that had -13.7” of horizontal movement in his Future Games’ outing and is a difference maker to right handed hitters. The left hander continues to flash advanced feel and stuff with much more in the tank.

Kooper Ranallo LHP / Owasso, OK / 2026

Ranallo rounds out our top 10 with a balance of current tools and ability as well as future projection from the left side on the mound. He is a potential two-way prospect, as the outfielder has shown bat to ball skills and the ability to use the whole field. On the mound, he will utilize a fastball that reaches the upper 80s, he has continued to showcase a curveball with good shape and landed it in the zone consistently - making for a very tough at bat as a left handed hitter. The loose armed left hander has much more in the tank and we would not be surprised to see another jump this spring from the Owasso product.

RISERS

Kaden Dean LHP / OF / Preston, OK / 2026

Dean rises in our rankings after a big fall campaign for Preston in their run to the state tournament. Our staff saw him up to 88 from the left side with the ability to land multiple pitches in the zone this fall. His curveball, ranging from 69-73 mph, can be manipulated with both the velocity and the shape. His athleticism and lean frame welcome further development with more room for projection and another anticipated jump leading into the spring season.

Brayden Trogdon RHP / 1B / Yukon, OK / 2026

Trogdon makes another jump in our latest rankings, moving 20+ spots to number 35. The junior continues to fill out his projectable frame, now up to 6’2” and 190 pounds with a high-carry fastball that reached 87.5 mph and 2300+ RPMs at our Enid Fall ID. Paired with his fastball, Trogdon mixed a curveball registering over 2570+ RPMs with shape that will play to both RHH and LHH hitters. Marching toward the spring, he will be an exciting name to continue following for a talented Yukon Millers team.

Preston Welch 1B / LHP / Byng, OK / 2026

Welch, a southpaw and Byng native, has shown to be versatile with upside on both sides of the ball. His measurables continue to climb with his fastball up to 86.9 mph and exit velocity peaking at 96.5 mph at our Enid event this fall. On the mound, his fastball has shown good carry with an average of 18.3” of IVB, curveball with consistent shape at over 2450+ RPMs and a change-up with armside fade at 78-80 mph. Offensively, Welch did damage through the fall season, batting .360 with 5 HRs. The polished two-way continues to further develop with a big spring on the horizon.
