TOP 5

Cole Dunlap C / RHP / Edmond Memorial, OK / 2027

Dunlap remains in our top spot with the latest update. A legitimate two-way prospect, he ran his fastball up to 92 at the BOA Scout Day over the summer while mixing in a mid 80’s slider and curveball. As a position player, Dunlap has flashed metrics that highlight big upside throwing 82 mph from behind the plate as part of a sub 1.9 Pop Time. Offensively, there is present strength making up a 92 mph exit velo. An exciting prospect, the Edmond Memorial sophomore will be one to watch as he continues developing.

Keon Young OF / RHP / Enid, OK / 2027

The Plainsmen product appears primed for a big sophomore campaign following opportunity as a freshman. A two-way prospect, he showed his upside at the Super Sophomore Games in August while running his fastball up to 88. Additionally, he mixed in a hard slider ranging from the mid to upper 70’s. Offensively, he is a plus runner, 6.84 60, with the ability to use his speed to change games on the bases but also in the outfield. He has planted himself as a name to know in the 2027 class.

Landon Schmidt OF / RHP / Edmond Memorial, OK / 2027

Schmidt has some of the most advanced tools in the class with the ability to continue developing with added strength and maturity. As it stands, the 6.6 runner has posted an exit velo over 96 mph using a simple and efficient swing that keeps him in the zone for a substantial amount of time. In the outfield, he is fundamental in how he attacks balls, transfers, and has shown to be an accurate thrower. Schmidt will be a fun follow as just a sophomore impacting a very talented Edmond Memorial squad this spring.

Koen Isaacson SS / 2B / Edmond Memorial, OK / 2027

Isaacson comes in at number four in our latest update. An advanced defender, he has shown the ability to defend at an advanced level from the shortstop position. Offensively, a simple move keeps Isaacson in the zone for a substantial amount of time and a mature approach allows him to work gap to gap. This allows him to utilize what is arguably his best tool at this time, his legs, which is highlighted with a sub 6.8 60 at the Super Sophomore Games in August. The Edmond Memorial prospect has big upside and will be a fun follow for a talented Bulldog squad.

Mason Rainbolt RHP / C / Checotah, OK / 2027

We got our first look at Rainbolt this fall and the Checotah product put up impressive numbers at the Tulsa Fall ID. His fastball ran up to 91 while comfortably sitting in the upper 80’s with natural carry. Additionally, his slider was spun at 2400+ RPMs with a fading armside change up as well. Rainbolt showed present athleticism and room to continue developing with a lean frame at 5’11” and 170 pounds that will continue filling out. He checks in at number five in our latest update and look forward to see his growth moving forward.

SPOTLIGHTS

Brock Copass C / 3B / Bixby, OK / 2027

Copass broke into the Bixby lineup as a freshman and looks to build on that in his sophomore campaign. A physical right handed bat, he has shown the ability to hit for power with more to come with continued physical maturity. Behind the plate, he has shown a pop time under 2.0 and the strength to continue developing defensively as both stuff and velocity progress from his batterymates. The Bixby Spartan is primed for an exciting sophomore campaign in 2025, and has proven to be one of the top catching prospects in the state.

Jake Lopez SS / 3B / Broken Arrow, OK / 2027

Lopez debuts in our rankings as a highly projectable and athletic infielder. At 6’4” and 170 lbs, he shows athleticism and quickness in addition to smooth actions that can keep him on the left side of the infield. A well rounded talent, he clocked a 7.23 60, threw 86 mph across the infield, and had an exit velocity of 87 mph all at our Enid Fall ID. We anticipate added strength, and with that will lead to more extra base hits and loud contact for the exciting 2027 grad.

Luke Franks C / 3B / Broken Arrow, OK / 2027

Franks offers both athleticism and present strength that makes him an exciting high upside prospect from the catching position. At 6’2” and 184 lbs, he has reached an exit velocity of 94.7 mph, more to come in the future, and the ability to use the entire field. The Broken Arrow product has some defensive versatility but has shown a pop time under 1.95 with the flexibility and mobility to get himself in good positions to receive the baseball. Franks will be a name to know marching toward the spring

Brendon Voss 3B / RHP / Calumet, OK / 2027

Voss comes off a big fall for Calumet. He is a physical right handed hitter that has shown both advanced tools and discipline in our looks at him. This fall, Voss clocked a 6.9 60 from his 6’0” wirey frame and room to continue adding strength. Offensively, both in BP and in game, we have seen a mature approach that works through the oppo gap. Clean actions and good feet were prevalent on the infield and Voss will be a name to continue following for Calumet this spring as he further develops physically.

Benji Bauer C / 2B / Owasso, OK / 2027

Bauer is strong and has the look and make up you would expect from a future work horse behind the plate. Offensively, Bauer has present strength at contact with a max exit velocity of 96.8 mph despite being young for the 2027 class. His quiet and efficient swing keep him in the zone for an extended period and allow him to use the entire field for a balanced and well rounded approach. Behind the plate, he has a natural ability to throw with good backspin and carry which will expedite development with added strength. Bauer will be an exciting prospect to continue following with a high motor and strong tools.

Clark Cariker SS / RHP / Jenks, OK / 2027

Cariker is a strong defender on the infield and the Jenks product has shown advanced athleticism for the class. His best 60, a 6.86, is still one of the best in the class despite being clocked early in 2024. Defensively, he’s an easy mover that has shown the ability and physical tools to play shortstop. Offensively, added strength will enhance his projectability, but the present ability to control the barrel makes him an exciting player to follow into the spring campaign.
