QUICK HITS

TWO-WAYS

+ INF/RHP Bradley Hastings (Bishop Kelley, 2028) emerged as a name to know in the 2028 class with our staff’s first look at the young prospect. At the plate, the long limbed switch hitter consistently barreled balls throughout his round of BP, reaching a max exit velo of 92.2 mph. His long levers also produced an event best max bat speed (80.9 mph) and rotational acceleration (24.3g) via Blast Motion. Defensively, he showcased clean actions on the infield, receiving the ball out front with soft hands, and reaching 88 mph across (event best). On the mound, Hastings once again paced the event with a max fastball of 85.1 mph, but the metrics of both his fastball and slider were the most telling. His fastball peaked with a spin rate of 2580+ RPMs and slider peaked at 2660+ RPMs which both led the event and have laid a foundation as must follow as he continues developing.

+ INF/RHP Lance Bellmard (Thomas Edison Prep, 2027) put his athleticism on display at our Tulsa Preseason ID on both sides of the ball. The switch hitting infielder put together a BP round showcasing a gap to gap approach that will highlight his speed and athleticism and had a max exit velocity of 86.4 mph. Defensively, Bellmard displayed the ability to catch the ball out front and was comfortable moving in all directions - forehand, backhand, and specifically on the ball he had to come in on. He finished his day on the mound and had feel and command of his entire mix. The fastball topped out at 77.9 mph with max 20.6” Induced Vertical Break. Bellmard’s curveball, consistently in the zone, spun in at  while his changeup had 17.7” of Horizontal Movement. An athletic mover, Bellmard will be a player to continue following over the course of his career.

HITTERS

+ C/OF Ezekiel Griffin (Byng, 2026) showed positional versatility at both catcher and in the outfield as well as potential middle of the order presence throughout our event. At catcher, Griffin registered a 1.95-1.99 pop time missing down with accurate throws. From the outfield, he topped the 90 mph mark with an event best 91 mph throw while utilizing a quick transfer and command. At the plate, Griffin once again paced the event with a 94.6 mph Exit Velocity working the middle of the field from a strong 5’8” and 179 pound frame. A mature approach and the athleticism to offer positional versatility will make Griffin a fun follow into this spring for a talented Byng squad.

+ C/OF Braelin Lewis (Dewar, 2026) displayed physicality and a power speed combo at our Tulsa Preseason ID event. He started his day with an event-best 30-yard dash from a 5’10” and 195 pound frame. Offensively, the Dewar product registered a 94 mph Exit Velocity with a short efficient path mixing head high line drives from alley to alley. Further, he recorded 74.7 mph max Bat Speed and 22.7g of Rotational Acceleration via Blast Motion. Defensively, Lewis worked as both a backstop and outfielder once again re-emphasizing the athleticism shown throughout the workout. The multi sport athlete is a newcomer to know for a talented Dewar squad in 2025.

+ Landon Clawson (Sallisaw, 2027) is a physical backstop that showed an advanced ability to receive at catcher and potential middle of the order presence. The right handed hitter recorded a 91.2 mph Exit Velocity and the ability to backspin balls through the middle of the field. At 5’11” and 214 pounds, Clawson is already a presence in the box that will continue to develop over the course of his career. Behind the plate, his day was highlighted with skills that give pitchers comfort when working with him. He showed the ability to really receive, specifically on the low pitch, and registered a pop time as low as 2.01.  The Sallisaw prospect is a must follow into the spring and as he continues to mature and develop behind the dish.

+ OF prospect Ace Roland (Broken Arrow, 2028) is a rangy left handed hitting outfielder with plenty of projection mixed with current substance. Offensively, he had an 85.1 mph Exit Velocity, but lived in the middle of the field throughout his round of BP. He showed comfort elevating the ball with backspin, and with his long-limbed developing frame, those singles could soon turn into extra base hits. Defensively, Roland reached 86 mph from the outfield

PITCHERS

+ RHP/OF Erik Williams (Sapulpa, 2028) showed metrics that offer a strong foundation that could also forecast future success on the mound. The two-way player worked into the upper 70s on his fastball with a max Induced Vertical Break of 23.2” (event best). Further, his offspeed offerings showed more promise with both command and metrics. Williams curveball registered 2130+ RPMs and changeup showed good armside fade. A lean 5’10” and 150 pound frame, offer plenty of room to grow and continue developing in all facets of his game.

+ RHP Silas Roberts (Grove, 2025) used a three pitch mix to consistently land in the zone at our Preseason ID in Tulsa. He worked his fastball up to 2150 RPMs and a max IVB of 18.1” with ability to work it around the plate. Further, the IVB from a 5’8” frame gave Roberts ride from a lower release that is difficult for hitters to get on top of consistently. He also mixed a curveball and change up into his bullpen, highlighted by the curveball working 71-73 mph and 2100 RPMs. Roberts showed a mix that can consistently disrupt hitters balance and timing.
