2020 Canadian College & University Showcase - Quick Hits

Chris Kemlo and PBR Ontario Staff
PBR Ontario Director of Scouting

We would like to thank all who participated in PBR Ontario's 2020 Canadian College & University Showcase. This was a great opportunity for 2020-2022 prospects to be identified before season, create and update their profiles, as well see where they stack up with their peers. Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase.

In the coming weeks, we will be adding and updating profiles for each of the players in attendance, including complete analysis and video.

2020 Canadian College & University Showcase  - Quick Hits

With over 100 kids in attendance last Sunday at the Canadian College and University event, there is obviously a lot of numbers and prospects to dissect through. Here, we give a glimpse to what went down and some of the players who caught our eye.

THE BATS

Luke Berni OF / 1B / Bishop Allen, ON / 2021

Report: Luke Berni, a 2021 right-handed hitting outfielder caught our attention when he stepped into the box for his round of BP. It was balanced and whippy with some juice to his pull side, and Berni was able to get the barrel through the zone and out-front with bat speed. The OF was 94 mph off the tee and his Rapsodo numbers were in the 88-93 mph range in BP.
