HIGH SCHOOL DRAFT 100 PROSPECTS
NONE

OTHERS TO WATCH: OF Dasan Brown (Abbey Park HS, ON) is a good athlete with at least plus speed. His hands are quick through the zone, creating bat speed, and he is an above-average defender in center field. C Owen Diodati (A.N. Meyer HS, ON) has big power from the left side and he has shown an improvement in his athleticism and agility. RHP Eli Saul (Prince of Wales HS, BC) has come on strong as of late, running his fastball up to 94. The 6-foot-5, 210-pounder also has a firm slider at 78-82 that has a chance to be an out pitch. 3B T.J. Schofield-Sam (North Park HS, ON) came out swinging a hot bat this spring and did so against professional pitching while traveling with the Canadian Junior National Team. He has feel to hit, making lots of hard contact and shows a power stroke to all fields. C Ryan Leitch (Sinclair SS, ON) can hit for power while also staying behind the dish. He has a strong, muscular frame with bat speed and the ability to use the whole field. 3B Micah McDowell (Okotoks Dawgs Academy, AB) and SS Cesar Valero (Okotoks Dawgs Academy, AB) are both committed to Oregon State. McDowell has speed and a line-drive approach while Valero has whippy right-handed bat. LHP Adam Macko (Vauxhall Academy, AB) pounds the zone, attacking hitters with a high-80s fastball, breaking ball and changeup. LHP Keegan Pulford-Thorpe (Newmarket HS, ON) has struggled with his command, but the stuff is there. He maintains 89-91 through his starts and will flash an above-average curveball.
