Core Four Performances At The Canadian College & University Showcase

Jesse Levine and PBR Staff
PBR Ontario Scout

We would like to thank all who participated in PBR Ontario's 2019 Canadian College & University Showcase. This was a great opportunity for 2019-2022 prospects to be identified before season, create and update their profiles, as well see where they stack up with their peers.

In the coming weeks, we will be adding and updating profiles for each of the players in attendance, including complete analysis and video.

Core Four Performances At The Canadian College & University Showcase

Carter Krawchuk RHP / SS / St. Francis, ON / 2021

Report: Krawchuk, a 6-foot, 150-pound right-hander was a standout at the OUA/OCAA showcase on Sunday. With a long and lean projectable frame, Krawchuk has added a few ticks to his fastball since his last PBR event in April, and is now up to 84 mph. It’s an athletic delivery, landing in-line and throwing with some length from a high ¾ slot while doing a good job of hiding the ball. With arm speed, he gets his arm out front and on-time often, but there is still some inconsistency with his command which will improve as he refines his delivery and adds strength. His curveball flashed late 11/5 break and is a secondary offering he can rely on. He’ll also threw in a changeup in the 75-77 mph range. Krawchuk is going into his sophomore season and is one of top arms in his class.
