Ontario Top Ten Breakdown: Top Viewed Prospect Profiles - #4 Adam Hall

Adam Hall#4 Adam Hall, SS, AB Lucas Secondary, 2017
Background: Hall is a premier athlete in a premier position as the shortstop for the Canadian Junior National Team and his club team the Great Lake Canadians. Lots of quick twitch involved with Hall at the plate with strong forearms and wrists. The ball jumps off his bat, with ability to use the whole field and he flashes power to his pull side, which speaks to his strength as he doesn’t overpower anyone with his 6-foot, 165-pound frame. He displayed the long ball both with the National Team and at the Area Code Games last summer. The shortstop is an elite athlete with plus speed as he has a 60 time of 6.45. Arm and hands work from shortstop as he consistently makes the routine plays, along with highlight reel plays every so often.

Overview: As the #1 prospect in the 2017 class and 15th in the overall rankings, the Texas A&M commit will certainly draw the attention of pro scouts this spring as one of the top prospects for this June’s MLB draft. A student of the game with a strong passion and desire to win, Hall looks to be primed to continue on his path as one of the top players in high school across North America.
