After drilling down into our Google Analytics we have compiled a list of the ten most visited Ontario profiles on the Prep Baseball Report website in 2015. During the month of December we will count down to the end of the year with a look at those profiles that were most viewed.

Ontario Top Ten Breakdown: Top Viewed Prospect Profiles - #4 Noah Naylor

Background: The youngest member in our top ten is the 2018 grad Noah Naylor. While some may seem a little surprised with him being so young and such a highly viewed profile, but once you see the 5-foot-10, 170-pound prospect in action you quickly understand that he is different from his peers. Naylor led the Mississauga Tigers to provincial and National championships in 2015 as he played important roles in the middle of the diamond as a shortstop, catcher, and some time on the mound. He stood out as one of the youngest players at Tournament 12 and then with the Canadian Junior National Team as the 15 year old held his own this October in Florida against professional players, collecting his first double off of 2014 first round pick Touki Toussaint of the Atlanta Braves organization.

Outlook: Naylor will most likely spend his time catching as that is where we see him profiling. He is athletic and strong for his age, ran a 7.10 in the 60-yard dash and shows plenty of arm strength to stay behind the plate. He moves well and his hands work, but like his older brother Josh, the bat is advanced. He sees the ball really well and I can’t remember the last time I saw him swing at a bad pitch. Generates good bat speed and the hands have a looseness to them as he stays direct to the ball. The hit tool is there and his power should only increase as he matures and becomes stronger. Naylor projects to sign with a major D1 baseball program, and be a mainstay and focal point of the JNT up until his graduation in 2018. Will be a lock for the PBR Ontario Future’s Team this August and we look forward to following him over the next few years.
