Bryce Arnold SS / 2B / Blessed Trinity, ON / 2020

Report: Arnold, an athletically-talented infielder, has performed well on the big stage, and at his first ProCase, he has a chance to open some more eyes. 5-foot-9, 155-pound build with sneaky strength and evident quickness. In the infield, he moves freely, ranging both ways with direct routes before fielding and transferring cleanly. Arm works short and loose, and when he has time, he is able to gather and let off throws off in the upper 80’s. Steady infielder, and with his athleticism, shows the ability to make the difficult plays. From the right side of the box, Arnold displays impressive hand speed, allowing his bat to work effortlessly short and quick through the zone. Hips work loosey, allowing him to rotate and catch up to velocity. Line-drive hitter, but he has shown the ability to get a hold of a pitch and drive it to the pull-side. A bat-first infielder, Arnold can pick it on defense as well, he has developed into one of the premier position players in the 2020 class.

William Watson RHP / 3B / David Suzuki, ON / 2021

Report: Uncommitted, top-ranked right-hander, fifth overall in 2021 class. Commanding 6-foot-5, 195-pounds, large frame, still room to add strength. Watson features a slow-processing delivery, he uses a big leg-kick to start his delivery before falling forward in-line. Arm works compact out back with a clean circle, works from a ¾ arm slot, with a strong finish. Watson creates extension out front allowing the ball to get on hitters quicker. His arsenal includes a fastball in the 85-88 mph range, a 72-75 mph splitter and a 75-76 curveball; all three pitches work well together. His fastball will run in on right-handed batters, curveball features 11/5 break that flashes bite when he stays on top, his splitter is another useful secondary pitch which will get him groundballs. He has shown the ability to be effective out of the slide-step as well. Watson’s build and arm strength will make him one of the more intriguing pitchers at the ProCase.

Owen Caissie OF / Notre Dame, ON / 2021

Report: Kentucky recruit, Caissie is coming into this event as one of the highly regarded 2021’s in the country and looks to be a standout at his first PBR ProCase. 6-foot-3, 185-pound outfielder, has improved physically, now has the strength to complement his athleticism, while still having plenty of room to fill out. Looks the part of a right-fielder. A good runner at this point, clocking in at 6.82 at a recent event with room to still get quicker. Caissie’s arm plays on the right side of the outfield, he gets into his throws with his legs and displays proper mechanics throughout allowing him to get the most out of his throws, he locates around the bag. At the plate, the baseball jumps off of his bat, he is controlled, compact, he gets his bat head into the hitting zone quickly, has a smooth slightly upward bat path. He has the potential to hit and do so with power which plays best to the pull-side. Caissie is currently a contributor in all areas on the field.

Kenny Di Clemente OF / 3B / St. Thomas aquinas , ON / 2019

Report: Crowder commit, left-handed hitting Di Clemente has developed into one of the top outfielders in the 2019 class. 5-foot-10, 170-pound frame, similarly proportioned, medium build. In the outfield, Di Clemente will cover some ground, his sub-7.00 speed translates, his movement patterns are clean when fielding the ball. Was recently up to 87 mph from the outfield with good balance, clean transfer as a result. Has the makings of being a good fielding outfielder at the next level. At the plate, he demonstrates pitch recognition, and the discipline to lay off of tough pitches, puts together quality at-bats. While he is disciplined, he wants to hit, he shows the ability to cover the zone, puts together his best swings on pitches up in the zone. Bat-control, short swing and with self-awareness, he is consistent with his approach. Di Clemente has the potential to be a top of the lineup bat at the next level with his ability to get on-base while being a steady base runner as well.
