The Ontario Big Board: Uncommitted 2015's Speedsters

Tristan Pompey, OF, Jean Vanier Catholic Secondary

Scouting Report: Pompey is a 6-foot-2, 197-pound outfielder who looks to put his 2014 fall injuries behind him and come out of the gates ready to go this March with Team Canada. Pompey, a 6.70 runner in the 60-yard dash, uses his athleticism and speed on defense and the base paths to add to his overall game. Has become significantly bigger over the winter, Pompey will patrol all three outfield spots for the 18u Toronto Mets while trying to become a mainstay in the outfield with the Junior National Team. Receiving interest from some of the top D1 junior colleges down south.
