Overall Summary
Westview enters the 2025 season as an intruiging follow after a state quarterfinals appearance last spring. The Wildcats do lose a good portion of their previous varsity roster, but some pieces remain as well. A pair of seniors return to the middle of the order in Greg Bologoff and Holden Bybee. Bologoff is an Ottawa University commit and has plus bat speed from the left side, in addition to playing first base. Bybee hit in the 3/4 hole for much of last season and is a big time bat to watch. A trio of arms headline the pitching staff and should all get big innings. Senior RHP Maxwell Stewart and junior RHP Taisei Sasaki are solid options, and sophomore RHP Will Klein has a chance to take a big step forward this spring. The Wildcats have several great one-off matchups this season, including games with Clackamas, South Salem, and Barlow. They also will see some great series matchups facing Jesuit and Sunset. Look for Westview to try to carry over their momentum from last season and put out a strong, competitive side.
