Overall Summary

Clackamas enters the 2025 season as a team Prep Baseball is extremely high on. The Cavaliers bring back several key pieces of their lineup, and though they graduate the bulk of their innings from last season, multiple exciting young talents looked poised to step in. Junior catcher Nolan Foglio returns as one of the biggest bats, slotting in the middle of the order after hitting well last spring and providing leadership from behind the plate. Fellow junior and infielder Justin Larsen is another potent bat that returns. Luke Brady provided a spark in his freshman season, and should man shortstop as an incoming sophomore. Where Clackamas could really excel is with their trio of sophomore arms that could all step in to bigger roles. LHP Ben Foglio returns with the most experience of the group after logging 35 innings last spring. LHP Jaxon Wetzler is a 6'4 arm with tremendous upside shown recently at a Prep Baseball preseason event, running his fastball into the upper 80's. RHP Cade King showed out similarly well, with a four-pitch mix and a fastball in the upper 80's as well. The Cavaliers have some great conference matchups with Barlow and Central Catholic to highlight their schedule. With some returing pieces combined with high-upside newcomers, look for Clackamas to be a surprise powerhouse this season.
