Overall Summary

Lakeridge enters the '25 season as one of the teams expected to take the biggest leap by Prep Baseball staff. The Pacers boast a wealth of talent despite their sub-.500 finish last spring. The talent is headlined by '27 infielder and Oregon commit Manny Ehinger, currently the top ranked sophomore in the state. Ehinger is a dynamic athlete in a physical 6'4 frame that was already hitting cleanup by the end of his freshman season for Lakeridge. Also returning is senior Tyler Truong, a physical lefty in the middle of the order last season. The lineup depth is impressive as well, with Jaden Tragesser, Wyatt Minto, and Jack Barss all returning as solid bats. Andrew Ha is another intruiging follow with some athleticism in the outfield. Unfortunately, the pitching will have questions for the Pacers with the loss of senior Oregon State commit LHP Calvin Gregory to a torn ACL. Arms Cooper Berta and Charlie Peterson will likely shoulder much of the load after logging innings last spring. Lakeridge will have tough conference matchups, including three game sets with Tualatin, Lake Oswego, and West Linn to highlight the schedule. With a number of experienced varsity players returning, expect Lakeridge to take a step forward this season.
