Overall Summary
Jesuit enters the 2025 season as serious 6A state contenders after a semifinals appearance last season. The Crusaders return several key players, with a strong senior class and a handful of other contributors. Senior RHP and Linfield commit Johnathan Ingalls returns as one of the leaders in innings from last spring. Ingalls can run his fastball into the upper 80's and has a true starter's profile with a four-pitch mix. OF/LHP and Gonzaga commit Kainoa Santiago is another key senior, returning to the outfield and mound after missing parts of last season. Senior RHP Calvin Martinez could see a bigger role on the mound after limited action in 2024. A pair of senior bats with big power return to the middle of the order in Dillon Garg and Carter Stewart. Both players are some of the top uncommitted seniors in the state and are bats to watch. Junior INF, Futures Game alum and Gonzaga commit Jacob Rolling should be back at the top of the batting order. Rolling is the fifth ranked junior in the state and is a highly skilled two-way talent. Senior Dylan Ruchaber solidifies the bottom of the order and rounds out a very impressive infield group. The Crusaders have a number of great games this season, including early season matchups with Central Catholic, Lake Oswego and Tualatin. Expect Jesuit to put out another standout regular season and make noise in the 6A state playoffs.
