Overall Summary
Lake Oswego enters the 2025 season with some impact returners, but will also be looking to several new faces to contribute at the varsity level. The Lakers will likely be led by their pitching staff, headlined by a couple of innings leaders from last spring. Senior RHP Harrison Smith is a strike thrower with a smooth delivery that has worked deep into games. Fellow senior RHP/INF Elliott Wear is another experienced arm, and also was a staple in the middle of the order last season. Wear will likely man third base where his arm can play best. Several arms with limited varsity experience should be in the mix for relief innings. Junior Carsten Lemon DH'ed down the stretch for Lake Oswego last season and could be in line for more catching opportunities. Lemon is the 12th ranked player in Oregon for the 2026 class. Another junior to circle is OF Caden Gerritz, who had a great sophomore season while playing center field for the Lakers. Lake Oswego may have one of the tougher schedules beginning-to-end of their season. Series against Lakeridge and Tualatin end the year, while early matchups with Grant, North Medford, and Jesuit are real tests too. Look for the Lakers to lean on their experienced arms and find some new contributors to step up in the lineup.
