4.25.22 Update

After 2 flawless weeks and a 6-0 record, McMinnville jumps ahead of previous #1 West Linn to take over the top spot in our Oregon Power 12 rankings. The Grizzlies have won 7 in a row since dropping a 6-7 contest to a strong Sherwood squad. They'll look to continue their winning ways this week against Liberty in a 3 games league series.

West Linn 'drops' down to #2 after going 2-1 in back to back weeks. Albeit these are in no way bad losses. Plus they are ultimately winning the series overall and thus don't slide too far. Clackamas is right on their heels at #3 and the Cavaliers have a strong argument to be ranked much higher than their current spot. A lot is riding on the match-ups this week for those 2 squads.

And of course don't look now but here come Jesuit and Lakeridge. Jesuit dropped a tight one against Mountainside but then came back with 2 decisive victories. While Lakeridge had a dominant week with 3 lopsided wins.

Although Tualatin dropped 2 of 3 to West Linn, their strong roster and quality wins up to this point in the season still stacks them up amongst some of the best teams in the state.

Wilsonville climbs a few spots this week and has continued their high scoring ways all season. Sherwood has been on a roll since dropping a couple tough games to #1 McMinnville and they're as hot as anyone in the state right now.

Mountainside ran into the deep pitching staff of Jesuit but still managed to take a game from the Crusaders and their total body of work stacks up with the best of them. Summit, Hidden Valley and Mountain View had some blemishes last week but overall they're continuing to beat quality teams and they've avoided major lulls all season.

Stay tuned for more updates....
