As we approach the 2025 preseason, Prep Baseball Oregon continues a series of On Deck Spotlights, highlighting players who will be in attendance at various Preseason ID events. These players have attended a Prep Baseball event in the past and will be looking to boost their metrics, show progress in their games, and continue to gain exposure in 2025.
Today, we spotlight 2026 C/OF Nathan Bassett. The junior out of Grants Pass High School will be in attendance at the Corvallis Preseason ID at Oregon State University on Saturday, February 15th. Bassett was last seen at our Holiday Hitters event this past December.

Athletic 6'2, 190 pound frame. Maintains tight coil throughout right-handed swing, driving ball in the air consistently. Starts in a slightly open stance deeper into his lower half, exploding through contact. Drove ball into the LCF gap throughout multiple rounds. Second in the event with a 95.9 MPH peak exit velocity.
