Oregon Uncommitted Spotlight - '25 1B Tyler Truong
February 10, 2025
As we enter 2025, Prep Baseball Oregon continues our offseason series of Uncommitted Spotlights, highlighting standout performers that attended a Prep Baseball showcase event in 2024. Uncommitted spotlights are meant to showcase players that Prep Baseball Scouts felt showed standout tools, large improvements in overall game, or potential upside moving forward. College coaches and recruiters should be sure to keep an eye on these prospects in the coming months.
Today, we spotlight 2025 1B Tyler Truong. The senior out of Lakeridge High School was last seen at Pacific Northwest Preseason All-State last February. A 6'0, 210 pound athlete, Truong is a bat-first prospect with some pop that rotates quickly at the plate.
Below is a complete breakdown of the athlete, including scouting reports and video from previous looks.
