Oregon Uncommitted Spotlight - '25 INF Brady Ackerman
December 9, 2024
As the 2024 baseball season comes to a close, Prep Baseball Oregon continues our new offseason series of Uncommitted Spotlights, highlighting standout performers that attended a Prep Baseball showcase event this year. Uncommitted spotlights are meant to showcase players that Prep Baseball Scouts felt showed standout tools, large improvements in overall game, or potential upside moving forward. College coaches and recruiters should be sure to keep an eye on these prospects in the coming months.
Today, we spotlight 2025 infielder Brady Ackerman. The multi-sport athlete out of Canby High School is currently slotted as the 28th ranked player in the state for the '25 class. A strong bat in a 5'10 frame, Ackerman is one of the better seniors in the state that is currently uncommitted.
Ackerman has continuously shown strong pop at the plate, driving balls from a balanced right-handed swing. At many looks over the years he has shown steady improvements and posted exit velocities in the mid to upper 90's. Ackerman is an athlete that can make the routine play defensively as well. Below is a complete breakdown of the player, including scouting reports and video from a recent event.
