Oregon Uncommitted Spotlight - '25 MIF Kiyoshi Kiyokawa
December 30, 2024
As we approach 2025, Prep Baseball Oregon continues our new offseason series of Uncommitted Spotlights, highlighting standout performers that attended a Prep Baseball showcase event in 2024. Uncommitted spotlights are meant to showcase players that Prep Baseball Scouts felt showed standout tools, large improvements in overall game, or potential upside moving forward. College coaches and recruiters should be sure to keep an eye on these prospects in the coming months.
Today, we spotlight '25 infielder Kiyoshi Kiyokawa. The senior out of Sam Barlow High School attended PNW Preseason All-State in Centralia earlier in 2024. A plus athlete with intruiging tools, Kiyokawa could be poised for a big upcoming spring season.
The 5'7, 155 pound righty features quickness throughout his game, with smooth defensive actions and the ability to throw from multiple arm angles. The senior has ran a 6.85 second 60-yard dash time and posted exit velocities up over 94 MPH. Below is a complete breakdown of the athlete, including scouting reports and video from the event.
