As we enter 2025, Prep Baseball Oregon continues our new offseason series of Uncommitted Spotlights, highlighting standout performers that attended a Prep Baseball showcase event in 2024. Uncommitted spotlights are meant to showcase players that Prep Baseball Scouts felt showed standout tools, large improvements in overall game, or potential upside moving forward. College coaches and recruiters should be sure to keep an eye on these prospects in the coming months.

Today, we spotlight 2026 catcher Carsten Lemon. The 12th ranked player in the Oregon 2026 class, Lemon attended Preseason All-State and the PNW State Games last year.

A 6'0, 190 righty, Lemon features smooth actions defensively with pop times near 2-flat, as well as a fluid, whippy swing that produces hard contact. Below is a complete breakdown of the player, including scouting reports and video from events attended.
