Each week throughout the high school season, we will announce the Prep Baseball Oregon Pitcher and Hitter of the Week, recognizing standout performances from across the state. With numerous players excelling both at the plate and on the mound, this award will be based on nominations submitted through our POTW Google Form.
Additionally, we will continue our Oregon Diamond Notes to highlight other deserving players nominated by coaches who were not selected as the Pitcher or Hitter of the Week.

Sophomore Ryder Carpenter earns Hitter of the Week for week one of Oregon HS baseball after an impressive first game. The catcher slugged two home runs and a single, finishing 3-4 with 4 RBI and 3 runs scored. The uncommitted prospect was most recently seen at the PNW Preseason ID this February, and will be a player to keep an eye on this season. |
