TELL US MORE...

Tell us about your commitment. Why did you decide on your school?

There was a great connection between me and the coaches. They seemed to really want me and I was there first offer since the coaching staff was new. They said I was the guy they wanted.
Coach Prachniak is a winner. He has two National baseball titles as a coach and Coach Patten and I had a great connection off the bat. Their facilities were very nice and I have always wanted to play baseball down south ever since I have been a kid.

The offseason is upon us. Tell us a little about your off-season training:

I workout with Shadyside X3 days a week. I hit 5-7 days a week at C-Side Sports. I get infield lessons with Coach Grandstrand who played AA baseball for the Rays. I lift and hit anytime I am free with my dad.

Baseball is a game built on adversity & failure. Who is your biggest influence in the game that has helped you handle the ups and downs?

My dad. He has taught me the game I love today. He taught me how to be tough and get through whatever happens. He pitches to me everyday and I think that’s why I am the hitter I have have become.

Special Mention to: Frank Jezioro, Pat Sadler & Dave Lee. Frank is a trainer. Dave Lee and Pat Sadler helped get me to the next level with baseball.

Best player you ever shared the field with and why?

Cole Young. He wanted every ball hit his way, and gave everything in his heart to win the game. He is very talented but also a very good teammate.

How has your experience been with Prep Baseball Report?

They have been great. When I went to my first PBR showcase as an 8th grader I saw what my numbers were. They weren’t very good. It gave me fuel to get better. I am now the 3rd ranked shortstop in the state. I give credit to Greg Williams, Ted Williams, Max Schrantz, and Dan Cevette for giving me the opportunity to compete at the Future Games.

Most memorable PBR event & why?

The Future Games. I got to go up against the best 2024’s in the nation. I got to play in front of so many college coaches.
