As 2016 draws to a close we will be devoting much of the month of December looking back on the year that was. Our year end review will include a countdown of the top viewed player profiles of the year as well as a look at the top ten stories of 2016 as voted on by our PBR staff.

To get things started today we take a look at the five most viewed news stories of the year on the Pennsylvania page of the website.

#5 - Pennsylvania Travel Baseball State Championships Central
The inaugural Pennsylvania Travel Baseball State Championships will take place on August 19-21 at the Iron Horse Baseball Complex in Windber, PA.

12 teams from three state make up the tournament field. Teams will play three games in one of three separate pools on August 19 and 20 prior to being re-bracketed for championship play. Semifinals action in the Gold, Silver and Bronze brackets will be contested on August 20 with championship games taking place on August 21....
