#9 Whitehall 3, Easton 2

  • Binghamton-bound Jacob Wloczewski hurled a CG 2-hitter with 10 strikeouts and 2014 Jeffrey Charles went 2-3 with 2 RBI for the Zephyrs.

#11 Parkland 1, #13 Liberty 0

  • Parkland plated an unearned run in the 2nd inning and 2013 Tyler Duff (7 IP, 3 H, 0 BB, 7 K) did the rest for the Trojans. This week's round-robin between Top 25 teams from the LVC (Liberty beat Whitehall on Tuesday) concludes on Saturday when Parkland faces Whitehall as part of a quadruple header at Coca-Cola Park, home of the Phillies AAA affiliate Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs.

Seneca Valley 3, #17 North Allegheny 2

  • Kent State-bound Zach Spangler drove in the winning run in the top of the 6th in the person of 2014 Connor Coward (#32 2014), who also earned the win on the mound (CG, 6 H, 3 BB, 7 K). 2015 Johnny Brittner went 2-3 with a 2B and scored the Raiders other two runs.

#21 Plum 10, Gateway 2Kirilloff

  • A close game through five frames didn't stay that way after the Mustangs posted 4-spots in the 6th and 7th innings. 5th-ranked 2016 Alex Kirilloff (right) had his way on the mound (6 IP, 4 H, 1 BB, 13 K) and at the plate (3-4, R, 2B, RBI). He received plenty of support from 31st-ranked 2014 Nick Stotler (3-4, 2 R, 2B, RBI, SB) and 2016 Ethan Winesburgh (3-3, 2 R, RBI, BB).

Hatboro-Horsham 6, #23 Central Bucks South 2

  • Due to poor field conditions, what was supposed to be a home game for CB South turned into a nightmarish road loss, as the Titans committed six errors that turned into four unearned runs for the Hatters. Uncommitted 2013 Grant Opalisky (2-3, R, 2B, 2 RBI) led the offense and is now hitting .520 this spring. Seton Hall-bound Zach Prendergast (6 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 3 BB, 5 K) outdueled Monmouth-bound Ricky Dennis (5 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 6 K).

#24 Central Bucks East 8, Souderton 2

  • Elon-bound Robbie Welhaf spun 6 shutout innings (3 H, 1 BB, 3 K) and 2013 OF Vince Careghini (2-4, 2 R, 3B, 2 RBI) paced the Patriots offense out of the leadoff spot.

#25 West Perry 10, Trinity 0Dum

  • The Mustangs scored in every inning but the first, as 20th-ranked 2015 Ben Dum (right) twirled a CG 1-hitter.

Strath Haven 5, Garnet Valley 2

  • The top five hitters in the order went 8-17 with 4 runs scored, 2 doubles, and all 5 RBI to help the Panthers remain unbeaten on the season.

Chartiers Valley 6, Keystone Oaks 2

  • CV was out-hit 12-8, but had the biggest blast of the day, a 3-run HR from 2014 Brady Gulakowski that pushed its record to 9-1 on the year. 2015 OF Tanner Garis went 3-4 with 2 RBI for the Colts, while Jared Skolnicki (Kent State) went 4-4 and drove in both of the Golden Eagles runs.

Neshaminy 6, William Tennent 2Creighton

  • A 5-run first inning propelled the Redskins to a win that moved them to 7-1 on the season. 19th-ranked 2014 OF/LHP Cole Creighton (right) picked up the win and 2 RBI.

 Conestoga 5, Springfield HS 0

  • Conestoga stayed undefeated as a 5-run bottom of the sixth gave 2014 LHP Drew Jackson (CG, 4 H, 2 BB, 5 K) all the run support he needed. Seven of the nine hitters in the Pioneers line-up collected base hits.
