St. Josehp's Prep 20  #1 La Salle 6 

  • St. Joseph's Prep tallied 22 hits, seven of which were for extra bases. Tim Rafter went 4-for-4 with a home run and two RBI. Chase Standon went 3-for-4 with three doubles and two RBI.

BirkheadCentral Bucks East 8  #7 Hatboro-Horsham  6

  • Hatboro-Horsham carried a 6-2 lead into the bottom of the 6th inning only to see CB East rally for six runs. Brandon Birkhead's three-run triple was the big blow in the inning. Birkhead finished the game with four RBI.

#9 Boyertown 8  Upper Perkiomen 4

  • East Stroudsburg recruit Dan Woodley limited UP to just four hits in the complete game victory. Corey Postell and Luke Stong both had doubles for Boyertown.

#16 Parkland 7  Northampton 4

  • Lead-off hitter Brad Vasilik went 3-for-4 with a run scored and two RBI to lead Parkland. Harley Davidson went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI in a losing effort for the Koncrete Kids.

Archbishop Wood 10  #17 Germantown Academy 2

  • Scott Boches held GA to five hits and Brett McCrossen hit a 3rd inning grand slam that was more than enough run support. Archbishop Wood moves to 4-0 with the win.

Ryan MalloyHoly Ghost Prep 6  MaST Charter 1

  • Curtis Staropoli pitched a complete game three hitter and sophomore Ryan Malloy went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI to lead Holy Ghost Prep.

Northeastern 18  Eastern York 7

  • Nick Yinger went 3-for-3 with a double, a home run, three runs scored and three RBI to lead Northeastern.

Thomas Jefferson 13  Cannon Macmillan 12

  • In a slugfest that saw 25 runs, 32 hits and 12 walks it was only fitting the game was decided in the 7th inning. Cannon Mac rallied for three runs in the top of the 7th only to see TJ respond with four runs of their own to win the game in the bottom on the inning. There were many hitting stars on the day but Joe McHugh led all hitters going 4-for-5 with a double, two runs scored and two RBI.

Cumberland Valley 9  Mifflin County 2

  • Villanova recruit LHP Hunter Schryver and RHP Mitchel Lacey combined on a no-hitter to lead CV. Schryver struck out 9 but was victimized by six walks and an error that led to two unearned runs. Lacey struck out four in his two innings of work.

Central Dauphin 4  Carlisle 3

  • Justin Rohrer went six solid innings giving up just one earned run while striking out six. Nate Dickey worked a scoreless 7th inning for the save. VCU recruit RHP Brian Goodling was the hard luck loser for Carlisle giving up three earned runs and six hits in five innings of work.

Whitehall 7  Nazareth 4

  • Binghamton recruit RHP Jake Wloczewski went five strong innings yielding just three hits and no earned runs with 10 strikeouts to lead Whitehall. Leadoff hitter Anthony Gaetaniello went 3-for-4 with two RBI for Nazareth.

Ben Snyder 2Red Land 11  Cedar Cliff 1

  • RHP Zach Newmyer had his 2nd consecutive solid start limiting Cedar Cliff to two hits and one run in the complete game win. Newmyer recorded eight strikeouts and walked just one. VCU recruit Shane Dressler went 2-for-3 with a double, a run scored and two RBI. Ben Snyder also went 2-for-3 with three runs scored and two RBI.
