By Greg Williams
PA Director of Scouting

The weather system that affected the entire schedule of games to be played Monday blew out of the state but left behind unplayable field conditions for all but a select few fields in the state on Tuesday. Below is a recap of those games played yesterday.

Father Judge  8  Roman Catholic  3

  • Brandon Mau hit a three-run home run in the second inning to give Father Judge an early lead and Josh Teson helped to make the lead stand. Teson went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI. He also went 5.2 innings on the mound with 10 strikeouts to pick up the win.

BorsaMcDowell  7  Bayport (WI)  2

  • Unsigned senior LHP Zack Borsa tossed a complete game three hitter to lead McDowell to the victory. 1B Jake Wolf was the lone hitter to have multiple hits going 2-for-3 with two runs scored to lead the Trojans' offense. The game was played in Bradenton, FL.

Nazareth  1  East Stroudsburg South  0

  • Brett Kline and Dan Horvath combined on a one-hit shutout. Shortstop Tyler Snyder's RBI single in the third inning scored OF Tyler Paster with the game's only run.

Liberty  14  Stroudsburg  0

  • Zach Kantor threw a no-hitter and his Hurricane teammates gave him plenty of offensive support to lead Liberty to the win. Ten Liberty hitters had at least one hit.

Notre Dame  6  Saucon Valley  4

  • Matt Laub and Gabe Sinko each went 3-for-4 in a losing effort for Saucon Valley. Pat Roth went the distance on the mound for Notre Dame striking out 10 to get the win.
