Elite Prospect Showcase Spotlight: 2018 RHP Matt Benda

Just three days remains until PBR Pennsylvania's Elite Prospect Showcase on October 29th at Keystone State Baseball Academy in Manheim. Today, we continue a series of previews on prospects who will be in attendance, as we highlight New Hope-Solebury HS 2018 RHP Matt Benda.
The junior had a breakout sophomore season going 7-2 on his way to earning 1st Team All-Bicentennial League recognition. The 6-foot-3, 180-pound righty worked 41.1 innings allowing just twenty hits for a 2.03 ERA. Benda displayed above average command walking just 16 batters while registering 58 strikeouts.
