Elite Prospect Showcase Spotlight: 3B Dominic Peroni

By Jacob Gill

Dominic PeroniJust two months remain until PBR Pennsylvania's Elite Prospect Showcase on November 7th at Keystone State Baseball Academy in Manheim. Today, in the fourth in a series of previews on prospects who will be in attendance, we highlight Laurel Highlands third baseman Dominic Peroni.

One of the highest-ranked uncommitted prospects in the Pennsylvania class of 2016, Peroni's 6-foot-1, 185-pound frame and 93-mph exit velocity hint at potential power production. The right-handed hitter features a balanced stance in which he keeps his head still throughout and flashes solid bat speed. Defensively, Peroni has exhibited solid feet, a soft glovehand, and enough arm (86-mph across the diamond) to stay on the left side.

We expect Peroni to be a quality late commitment for whichever program procures his services. For a complete event roster as of today, click here.
