32 teams competed for the Triple Crown Sports United States Baseball Championships in Richmond, VA this past week and each was able to enter one participant in the home run derby at the All-Star game which aired on CBS Sports Network. The champion was Eric Ligda (Avon Grove), ranked No. 30 in the Class of 2014. Ligda is a 6-foot-5, 185-pound right handed pitcher and first baseman who will play for Team Pennsylvania at the Under Armour Midwest Future Games.
