Final Class of 2016 Player Rankings Released

With the culmination of the high school season, the 2016 MLB Draft and the start of the Prep Baseball Report summer schedule of events, it is now time to shift our focus to updates to our statewide player rankings .

Over the next three days we will look at updates to the rankings in the Class of 2017, 2018 and 2019. Today we wet your appetites with a final look at the Class of 2016. 

OF/1B Alex Kirilloff (Plum HS) completes his dominant high school career by finishing atop the Class of 2016 and is the Prep Baseball Report Pennsylvania Player of the Year. Kirilloff, the 15th player selected in this year's MLB Draft, is now applying his craft in the Minnesota Twins organization. 

In addition to Kirilloff, No. 2 Nolan Jones (Holy Ghost Prep / Cleveland Indians - Round 2), No. 3 Max Kranick (Valley View / Pittsburgh Pirates - Round 11) and A.J. Alexy (Twin Valley / Los Angeles Dodgers - Round 11) have all moved on to the professional ranks following outstanding high school careers.

  • July 7 - Updated Class of 2017 rankings
  • July 8 - Updated Class of 2018 rankings
  • July 9 - Initial Class of 2019 rankings
