Game Recap: Dallastown Area at Hempfield

By Greg Williams
Pennsylvania Director of Scouting

Hempfield 8, Dallastown Area 0

Cole HouserDallastown left a pair of runners in scoring position in the first inning and Hempfield followed by sending nine batters to the plate in the bottom half of the inning to take a 4-0 lead that was more than enough cushion for Tanner Seitz. The senior worked 5.2 innings allowing three hits for the win.

Hempfield freshman catcher Cole Houser (top right) got the first inning started with a one out double. Senior third basemen Angel Colon (bottom right) followed with a single to plate Houser to start a string of five consecutive Hempfield hits that led to the early 4-0 lead.

Colon (3-for-3, 2B, HR, 5 RBI) was the offensive star for the Black Knights. The three hitter also capped the scoring for Hempfield when he deposited a thre-run blast over the left field wall in the 6th inning to push plate the final three runs of the game.

Old Dominion recruit Tye Golden went 1-for-3 with a double and senior second baseman Joe Capobianco was 2-for-3 with a stolen base to lead the Dallastown offense.
