Boyertown 2, Phoenixville 0

RHP Trey Yesavage, No. 16 in the PA Class of 2021, spun a no-hitter to lead the Boyertown Bears to a 2-0 win over Phoenixville on Thursday. The 6-foot-4, 220-pound sophomore, who will participate as a member of Team Pennsylvania at the 2019 PBR Future Games, struck out 8 and walked four in his gem on 97 pitches while also chipping in with one of five Boyertown hits on the evening.

Chris Davis led the Bears offense with a 2-for-3 evening that included a run scored. Luke Bagley was tough in defeat for Phoenixville working six strong innings of five hit baseball. Bagley allowed just one earned run while not walking a batter and striking out two.

Boyertown moved to 12-6 on the season with the win and 10-5 in league play. Phoenixville fell to 12-4 overall and 10-4 in league play with the loss.
