Dan Cevette
President, NY/PA

The Northeast Procase will take place February 20, 2022 at the Liberty Arena in Williamsport, PA. This event marks the 2nd annual event where committed players from NY/NJ/PA will be on full display showing off all of their hard work this preseason. Currently this event is shaping up to be the most talent filled preseason event in our NY/PA history with 80+ players headed to Williamsport. Of those current 75 players, 17 players are committed to Power 5 conferences.

INSIDE THE NORTHEAST PROCASE

Cole Constable C / OF / Cathedral Prep, PA / 2023

It's been a year and half since the Maryland commit exploded onto the scene at the Pennsylvania State Games, but Constable is no stranger to PBR having attended six events previously. At the State Games the 5-foot-11, 185-pound backstop (last known) was lights out. He's very athletic evidenced by his 6.81 60 yard dash which allows him to move well in the crouch and also take reps from the outfield when needed. His arm-strength is above average and his glove skills are well trained and clean. He is currently the No. 26 player in PA's 2023 rankings.

At the plate he uses a simple balanced approach with loose hands. He uses a small stride for timing as the pitch is delivered and keeps his barrel on a short, compact, and slightly elevated path through the baseball. He's shows confidence in the box and has the bat-skills to spray the baseball to each gap. Expect to see all of his measurable stats increase at the Northeast Procase this February.
