Max Schrantz named Deputy Director for NY/PA Territories

The Prep Baseball Report (NY/PA) is excited to announce Max Schrantz as the Deputy Director for both states effective January 1, 2022. Max has spent the previous year with PBR serving as our Director of Strategic Initiatives,  Tournament Coordinator, event staff, and event Manager. In his new role, The Deputy Director will work closely with the Executive Director on all aspects of the baseball operations with a concentration on Pennsylvania.

Max's BIO:

Schrantz comes to Prep Baseball Report from Canisius College where he served as an Assistant Coach from 2018 through 2020. While in Buffalo, Schrantz served in a recruiting role as a NCAA certified recruiter and worked with the catchers and hitters. The Canisius Baseball program saw success during his tenure, winning the regular season championship in 2018. In the summer of 2019, Schrantz coached for the Kokomo Jackrabbits of the prestigious Northwoods League. Prior to coaching, his playing career began at Mercyhurst North East, playing at the NJCAA level for now Youngstown State University Head Coach Dan Bertolini. Schrantz then moved on to attend Mercyhurst University of the PSAC, playing for Erie Metro Hall of Fame member Joe Spano.
