PA 2026 Rankings Update

Ted Williams
VP Scouting/Content

The post-season is upon us, which means it's time for our staff to sit down for a modest pre-summer update to the 2026 class rankings. There's no lack of size and physicality among the pitchers in this group, headlined by RHP Nicholas Bradley (Abington Heights) & RHP Brighton Fontaine (LaSalle College).

Some shuffling occurred inside the Top-10, as Wake Forest commit 3B Andrew Costello (Cathedral Prep) was named #1 overall. Twitchy SS/OF Luke Williams (Franklin Regional) pushed up to the #5 spot after a big offensive spring. A pair of other upside names jumped onto the board in 3B/OF Brady Abate (Malvern Prep) at #4 and SS/RHP Owen Beatrice (North Catholic) at #8.

Included below is a full list of the 110 ranked, newcomers by position, and an updated "players to watch."

Andrew Costello C / 3B / Cathedral Prep, PA / 2026

Leads the #1 team in the state in RBI (37) and AVG (.473). It's legitimate rotational power from the RH box with an already next level frame. Proven hit tool at every stop of the way.

Wake Forest commit

Nicholas Bradley

Nicholas Bradley RHP / 3B / Abington Heights, PA / 2026

Frontline arm potential with an ease of operation and simple build of pace. Runs the FB into the low-90's and mixes a tight CB/darting CH. Command of all three pitches for strikes.

Auburn commit

Brighton Fontaine RHP / SS / LaSalle College, PA / 2026

Threw the ball confidently at the Bucks County Generals Scout Day, up to T88MPH with high spin rates across the arsenal. Finding his groove this spring: 11IP, 9K, and 0.64ERA.

Alabama commit

Brady Abate 3B / OF / Malvern Prep, PA / 2026

After a loud '22 summer, Abate has worked his way into the storied Malvern Prep lineup. Showed off a heavy barrel through the zone with + pull-side juice during a couple spring looks.

Luke Williams SS / 3B / Franklin Regional , PA / 2026

Uber-athletic with mid-90's positional arm and leadoff skillset, Williams improved an XBH approach over a year's time. Effects the box score in multiple ways with power/speed combo.

Virginia commit

Keller Bradley RHP / OF / Pennsbury, PA / 2026

An inning's eater with mid-to-upper 80's velo and sink, Bradley burst onto the scene at #IDEast with a standout 'pen. Owns a sharp SL that he deploys to glove-side; still learning the body. High ceiling!

Jaidyn Rivera OF / RHP / The Haverford School, PA / 2026

Recorded 2HR this spring while accumulating almost every day AB's. Fluid hips, sub-7.00 runner, and spins it on the mound. Possible two-way with best baseball ahead of him.

Owen Beatrice 2B / 3B / North Catholic, PA / 2026

Real competitor who slots the hands deep with an intentful finish. Chance to grow into a future middle of the order bat; one of the best athletes on the field at all times. #PBRJFG22 alum.

Hunter Strohm C / OF / Lower Dauphin, PA / 2026

Slashed over a .400 AVG in the Mid-Penn with advanced catch-and-throw ability from the crouch. Doesn't get cheated often and the movements should supply additional power increases.

Virginia commit

Jacob Horwitz LHP / OF / The Haverford School, PA / 2026

Saw a major FB bump, now operating into the mid-80’s with quality IVB metrics. Manipulates eye-level using downer CB to the bottom; natural cut at times out of the hand.
