Behind the plate is where he shines, the ability to change the game from the catching position is something that is valued from the high school level, the entire way into the big leagues. You are apart of the game from the first pitch to the last. Stealing borderline pitches to having enough baseball IQ to know what to do on each pitch. Aside from the mental part of the game, his numbers speak for itself, lives in the 1.88-1.99 range with a 79mph arm that is accurate. 

In the box he utilizes a simple load, but unleashes using +rotational power. The swing stays on plane through the zone.  The sophomore catcher has seen added strength in the past year, recorded a 93 EV at one of our preseason scout days. 

As Coy makes his way to Dubois, Pennsylvania this June, we are all in for a show. With the combination of a big personality, and mature understanding of his position makes it fun to watch him compete on the baseball field.
