Blake burst onto the scene this preseason, a first time attendee, he definitely made his presence known... The two sport athlete is mature physically with a muscular build at 5-11 185lbs. He really impressed in the box with above average rotational acceleration through the zone. The barrel stays flat resulting in a high hard hit percentage as well as a sweet spot percentage. The young catcher posted a 93 EV in his round during a preseason scout day. Behind the plate Blake shows a calm presence and effortless actions in throw downs. He lived from 2.03-2.15 as well as a 75mph arm from the crouch. We look to see him compete this June in Dubois, PA at the Pennsylvania State Games!
