Joseph Richardson RHP / St. Joseph's Prep, PA / 2019

10/28/17 6-foot-2, 185-pound right-hander was impressive during a three inning outing at the Eastern PA Top Prospect Games in June sitting comfortably at 82-84 with plenty more in the tank. Four months later Richardson has had a significant jump in velocity, now sitting 86-88 with the same easy, repeatable delivery. The fastball has late life with run and sink. He appears to be just beginning to fill out his athletic frame and additional velocity appears to be inevitable. Richardson also displayed a quality changeup at 80-82 and a slider at 76-78 out of the 3/4 same arm slot.

Nate Nabholz RHP / Blue Mountain, PA / 2019

7/26/17 Physical 6-foot-4, 205-pounder uses a short, side-rocker step to initiate a controlled, balanced delivery with above average arm speed. Stays directional and gets over front knee well. Has shown incremental velocity gains over past 24 months, currently sitting 85-87 while touching 89 mph. Curveball has slider action at 73-75 and changeup is thrown with good sell at 74-76.

Adam Grintz RHP / Downingtown West, PA / 2019

8/4/17 Still growing 6-foot-2, 185-pounder who competed for Team Pennsylvania at the 2016 & 2017 PBR Future Games. Rhythmic delivery with hands and lead leg working in concert and chest-high leg lift. Deep arm stroke into a high three-quarter slot. Good direction to plate with slightly closed toe landing and gets over front side well. Fastball sat 84-85, touching 86 mph with minimal effort. Curveball at 72-74 was slider-like with tight spin, but not a ton of depth. Also showed a straight change-up at 75-77.

David Platt RHP / Pennsylvania Leadership Charter, PA / 2019

8/4/17 6-foot-2, 205-pound right-hander worked from a 3/4 arm slot with command of three pitches at the 2017 PBR Future Games. Initiates delivery with a side-rocker step and utilizes strong lower half to create fastball that sat 84-87, touching 88 mph. Also displayed a 72 mph curveball with late 11/5 break and an occasional changeup at 77 mph. Platt worked three scoreless innings allowing one hit while striking out three. His fastball has a chance to be very heavy and induced a number of ground ball outs on this date.

Chic DeGaetano RHP / Hazleton Area STEM, PA / 2019

10/28/17 6-foot-2, 195-pound right-hander continues to impress with a fastball, curveball, changeup mix from an over-the-top arm slot. The junior, who represented Pennsylvania in the PBR Future Games in August, sat 86-88 with an up tempo, directional delivery that creates downward plane from his arm slot. While the fastball lacks movement the 12/6 breaking curveball comes out of the same window at 74-75 and his changeup at 80-81 is thrown with above average arm speed.
