Travis SankovichShortstop Travis Sankovich (Laurel Highlands) continued his torrid offensive output for the season with another big week at the plate. Over three games, all wins for the 10-0 Mustangs, Sankovich went 7-for-10 with a double and a home run while scoring eight runs with six RBI. 

The left-handed hitter is hitting .656 on the season with 21 hits in 32 at bats. He has also walked eight times for a .725 on base percentage.

Sankovich has been a run producing machine, driving in 15 runs while scoring 20. In 40 official at bats he has struck out just once and for good measure he has also worked a scoreless inning on the mound with two strikeouts.

The Florida Southwestern State JC commit is currently ranked No. 94 in the PA Class of 2018, For his efforts, Sankovich has been named the Prep Baseball Report Pennsylvania Player of the Week for the week of April 23 - April 28.

Additional Top Performers

+ 2018 RHP Thomas Grecco (DuBois Central Catholic) tossed a complete game shutout against Bradford this week. For the season the Clarion commit has not allowed an earned run in 31.2 innings of work. For good measure he also went 6-for-11 with a home run, double and four RBI on the week.

+ 2018 LHP/OF Adam Maser (Ephrata) went 4-for-7 with three RBI and three runs scored on the week. On the season the Arcadia commit is hitting .538 with 14 RBI.

+ 2019 OF Alden Mathes (Marple Newtown), a Richmond commit, went 6-for-9 with two doubles, three runs scored and four RBI. On the season the left-handed hitter is batting .568.

+ 2018 1B/RHP Mason McManus (Laurel Highlands) went 5-for-10 with two doubles and three RBI on the week. On the season he is hitting .611 with 20 RBI over 10 games.

+ 2018 LHP Joe Miller (La Salle), a Pennsylvania commit, moved to 6-0 on the season working 5.2 innings of three hit baseball with one run allowed in a win over St. Joseph's Prep.

+ 2018 LHP Joseph Rock struck out 16 batters in 9 innings of work on the week. On the season the Ohio University commit is 4-2 with a 1.30 ERA and has struck out 57 batters in 32.1 innings of work.

+ 2018 RHP Ryan Rudrow (Cumberland Valley) improved to 4-0 on the season with a complete game shutout over Central Dauphin. Rudrow has yet to allow a run on the season in 27 innings of work. He has allowed just 13 hits while striking out 33 and walking only six batters.

+ 2018 RHP Ben Visnesky (West Mifflin), a Gannon commit, picked up two wins on the week allowing two runs over eight innings of work to move his season record to 6-1 with a 1.37 ERA.
