Rookie Review: '23 MIF Cooper Rother (Bishop Guilfoyle)

What We Liked: The 5-foot-10, 180lb versatile middle infielder bounced around during defensive evaluations with positive, momentum-gaining footwork to the target and a soft glove hand that played out in front. This was after a loud batting practice session working up to a 94 mph best exit velocity (85 mph AVG) with a 57% sweet spot rate and 76 mph bat-speed. The Bishop Guilfoyle product will be a fun high school season follow with a chance to continue boosting his stock with a strong spring.
