Spring Update: Pennsylvania Class of 2018 Rankings

Mike SianiWith the start of their senior season on the horizon the PA Class of 2018 rankings welcome the addition of 25 new players in this update. The current list now stands at 250 players with 205 players having already announced a college commitment. An update to the current PBR Class of 2018 overall rankings will follow in the near future.

The top of the list includes a number of prospects likely to hear their name called in June in the 2018 MLB Draft. Outfielder Mike Siani (William Penn Charter) heads the list of potential draft picks and continues to hold down the top spot in this update. The Virginia commit is also ranked currently No. 8 in the PBR overall rankings for this class.

The top 25 spots in this class are filled with prospects committed to Power 5 conference schools with Pittsburgh leading the way with four commits. Penn State, West Virginia, North Carolina and Kentucky follow close behind with two commits each.

This class will have one final rankings update in June following the completion of the high school season in in advance of their departure to begin their college careers.
