Jonny Smith is a 5-foot-11, 155-pound right-handed hitter who runs a 7.22 60-yard dash and has shown a bat exit velocity of 79 mph. Offensively Smith has quick hands that allow him to stay inside the baseball. He has displayed above average power to the pull side and squares the ball consistently. Defensively Smith has showcased consistent pop times of 2.06-2.13 and a top velocity of 75 mph out of the crouch. Smith is currently ranked No. 40 in the PA Class of 2015 and will be attending the Preseason All-State Showcase on February 23.
