Physical: Strong/athletic 5-foot-11, 205lb frame with traits that carry into game action. 7.17 runner in the 60-yard dash. 

Offensively: RHH - Slightly backloaded/coiled start with loose hands above the shoulder and an even/balanced attack. Utilized a short lift and replace stride on-time allowing the hands to play accurately through a fluid, flat path into the hitting zone. Good rotational power and early connection in the box creating consistent line drive contact through the LCF side of the field (46% hard hit rate per Trackman Baseball). Added a 94 mph bat-exit velocity as well as a 354 foot batted ball distance showing repeated bat-speed in all quadrants during batting practice. Used the lower half well and projects to hit somewhere in the middle of the order. 

Defensively: The primary third baseman featured a low “glove-tap” off the ground to start, keeping a wide base with attacking footwork at the fielding window. A soft glove hand corralled inward and the feet moved gracefully towards the target allowing for an accurate, easy high ¾ slot with a slight stab in the back (87 mph arm, carry). Natural skills in all phases and makes the play on the run confidently too.

 

 

 

Physical: Physical 5-foot-10, 195-pound frame with advanced strength in the actions. 7.53 runner in the 60-yard dash. 

Offensively: RHH. Balanced, even setup with the hands starting on the shoulder with some wiggle in the barrel. Utilized a lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing coupled with a deep move to the load position. The barrel works slightly uphill through the hitting window with natural loft to the pull-side during a solid round of batting practice at the PA State Games. Repetitively made contact at the front of the plate with high level feel for the lower half allowing for adjustability in the box. Hit into a stiff front side and registered a 91 mph bat-exit velocity per Trackman Baseball. 

Defensively: The third baseman plays low to the ground in the setup with a quick first step and ability to move well laterally to either side. Soft hands played out in front allowing for aggressive, downhill play towards the target. Arm action played across the diamond out of a power high ¾ slot. 3B - 80 mph

 

 

5-foot-10, 185-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and utilizes a toe-tap stride to begin. Stays behind the baseball well and displayed the ability to create consistent back spin. Registered a bat exit velocity of 87 mph and ran a 7.40 60-yard dash. Showcased active feet and solid glove work at third base with 76 mph arm strength across the diamond. The righty sat 82-84 from a high 3/4 arm slot on the mound with a short takeaway. Curveball showed 11/5 rotation at 72-73 and changeup showed arm-side run at 73-77.

 

 

5-foot-8, 165-pound right-handed hitter begins with a slightly-open stance and initiates his swing with a toe-tap stride. Used a solid backside and feel for the barrel to notch a 79 mph bat-exit-velocity. Showed solid footwork and the ability to play through the baseball as he recorded 79 mph throws across the infield. Ran a 7.59 60-yard dash. Right-handed pitcher starts from a high 3/4 arm-slot featuring a 79-81 mph fastball. Curveball was thrown with above-average arm-speed at 66-72 mph. Good sell was used on changeups ranging from 70-72 mph.

 

 

5-foot-7, 135-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and initiates his swing with a lift-and-replace stride. Displayed a solid feel for the barrel with a tendency to cave the back side creating an uphill path to the baseball. Registered a 67 mph bat exit velocity and ran an 8.50 60-yard dash. Trusts his glove hand defensively and showcased accurate 68 mph arm strength across the diamond. All-around game will benefit from strength gains and physical maturity in coming years.
