            Digiacomo

PBR:  Where are you in the process of deciding on a college?
Digiacomo: I’m at the point where I’m narrowing down the list of colleges that I am interested in attending.

PBR:  What schools are you currently considering?
Digiacomo: I am currently looking at Allegheny College, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Ohio Univeristy, and Slippery Rock University. I am also open to looking at other schools that may be interested in me.

PBR:  Is distance from home a factor in your decision?
Digiacomo: Distance is not really a concern of mine, but my mother would like me to be close.

PBR:  Where have college coaches been able to see you?
Digiacomo: I was seen by a number of schools during the high school playoffs last spring and also during my American Legion season this summer.

PBR:  What position do you anticipate playing in college?
Digiacomo: I plan to be a pitcher at the college level.

PBR:  What is your biggest strength as a player and how do you feel that will help your team?
Digiacomo: I am mentally tough when I play the game. I don’t let anything get to my head because I know my teammates are behind me and give 100% no matter the situation.

PBR:  Who do you play for in the summer and what was your most memorable experience from this past summer?
Digiacomo: I play for the Saegertown American Legion team. My most memorable experience would have to be getting the start against Sandusky (Ohio) and throwing my best game of my career with the help of my team to get the win during the Allegheny College Tournament.

PBR:  What is your current GPA?
Digiacomo: My current GPA is an 89.34

PBR:  How has Prep Baseball Report aided you in the process of choosing a college?
Digiacomo: I played in the PBR Top Prospect Classic at Pullman Park in Butler, PA and was seen by a number of schools. I have been in contact with some of those schools since the event took place on August 23rd.
