Top Prospects

Logan GustafsonBrendon Hink

Dominic Fellowes, St. Joseph HS, SS
5-foot-7, 150-pound right-handed hitter showcased a solid all-around skill set. He starts from a slightly open stance and initiates his swing with a leg hang stride. Showed solid rhythm throughout and his hands work well through contact. Registered a bat exit velocity of 85 mph and ran a 7.14 60-yard dash. Showcased solid defensive actions with a quick release and accurate 80 mph arm strength across the diamond. Actions and physical size make him best suited as a second baseman at the next level.

Logan Gustafson, Greater Latrobe HS, LHP/OF
5-foot-9, 150-pound two-way prospect sat 76-80 our of a high 3/4 arm slot with a quick arm and natural cut to his fastball. Velocity is likely several ticks higher, but he had just thrown in game action the previous day. Also flashed command of a curveball at 63-66 with 1/7 rotation and above average feel for his changeup at 69-71. Changeup showed varying movement with cut at times and fade at others. The left-handed hitter starts from a narrow, square stance and initiates his swing with a quick, leg-lift stride. Showcased a flat barrel path and feel for the barrel. Registered a bat exit velocity of 78 mph and ran a 7.12 60-yard dash. Displayed athletic actions defensively while playing through the baseball with accurate 79 mph arm strength.

Brendon Hink, Neshannock HS, 3B/RHP
6-foot, 185-pound two-way prospect. The right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and utilizes a short, lift-and-replace stride to begin. A deep load leads to some barrel drag but a solid lower half and quick hands lead to some present gap power. Registered an 85 mph bat exit velocity and ran a 7.26 60-yard dash. Showcased active feet and the ability to play through the baseball defensively with 82 mph arm strength across the diamond. The righty sat 83-86 on the mound out of a high 3/4 arm slot while working solely out of the stretch. Displayed a quick arm and some sink to his fastball. Curveball had tight 11/5 rotation at 66-67 and slider at 74-75 showed later, shorter break. Also showed a sinker at 80-83 that had cutter action and a changeup with good sell at 69-71.

Chance Satcho, Montour HS, SS
5-foot-11, 172-pound left-handed hitter starts from a square stance and initiates his swing with a heel-raise stride. Displayed balance throughout with a direct swing path and a feel for the barrel. Registered and 85 mph bat exit velocity and ran a 7.22 60-yard dash. Showcased a soft glove hand and sound footwork defensively with 79 mph arm strength across the diamond. Project at 3B or 2B at the next level, but arm strength is solid enough to remain at shortstop as well.

5-foot-8, 140-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and initiates his swing with a lift-and-replace stride. Showcased accurate 73 mph arm strength from the outfield.

Garrett Clark, McDowell HS, LHP
5-foot-9, 155-pound lefty sat 77-80 from a high 3/4 arm slot with a balanced, repeatable delivery. Stays in line well and commanded the fastball for strikes. Curveball showed 1/7 rotation at 63-67. Displayed better feel for a slider at 67-71 with shorter break. Also showcased a feel for his changeup with solid arm speed at 74-76 with some arm-side run.

Jeffery Haer, Meyersdale Area HS, C/RHP
5-foot-7, 245-pound right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and utilizes a short, lift-and-replace stride to begin. Displayed a direct swing path with a feel for the barrel and efficient use of his lower half. Barreled the baseball routinely with some gap pop to the pull side. Registered an 83 mph bat exit velocity. Showcased pop times of 2.33-2.39 defensively with developing 64 mph arm strength. Showed a quick release and consistently put the baseball on the bag. The righty sat 71-73 on the mound while topping at 77 mph. Fastball showed some natural cut action out of a high 3/4 arm slot. Also displayed a curveball with 11/5 rotation at 61-62 and a changeup at 63-64.

Zach Keib, Brentwood HS, SS

Showcased a quick release and accurate 72 mph arm strength across the diamond defensively.

Dominic Paolillo, Edgewood HS (OH), 1B

Showcased capable actions around the bag at first base with accurate 65 mph arm strength across the diamond.

Sammy Tortorella, Keystone Oaks HS, LHP
6-foot-2, 200-pound lefty sat 79-80 with solid rhythm to his delivery out of a high 3/4 arm slot. Curveball showed sweeping 1/7 break at 61-63. The pitch could be effective at the next level with work to throw it with fastball arm speed. Chanegup sat 64-68 with little movement. Projectable frame and repeatable mechanics give Tortorella the chance to continue to add velocity in the coming years.
