December 11, 2024
Prep Baseball Pennsylvania finished the summer strong and had a slate of fall events with some of the best talent across the state. Now, as most players are diving head first into offseason workouts, we take a final look at the class of 2027 for this calendar year. The 2027 class is off to a strong start and is one of the deepest and most talent filled classes of recent history. Bolstering 14 nationally ranked players, and now expanded state rankings to 115+. It seems as if every event we hold a new 2027 emerges as being a dominate player in the Keystone State. Fall Risers
Burst onto the scene this fall with a strong showing at our Fall ID: Southeast. Athletic actions with still plenty of room to grow and mature, we are looking forward to watching him continue to develop.

The two-way talent had a strong showing down in Georgia at the Prep Baseball Cup. Still with projection left in his athletic frame, he will certainly be a follow as we near towards that August 1st date.

Starts the game w/ a live FB. Works from a high 3/4 slot. Long AA. Getting ahead w/ FB. Curveball has solid depth. Worked two k’s in the first.

In a loaded class of arm talent, Hornick continues to creep up the rankings and is someone to keep a close eye on. Explosive arm, with feel for a tight BB creates a tough AB for any hitter. Hornick went across state lines and proved why he is one of the best RHP in the state of Pennsylvania at the NJ Fall Top Prospect Games.

Hornick showed off his arm talent at the Fall Top Prospect Games. He filled the zone with a heater that has power traits. A tight CB to pair. #PBTPG || @jackson_hornick pic.twitter.com/KOr5IIQxd7
